The author investigated the traditional arranged marriage as well as its impact on both the husband and wife’s lives. The author also looks at how love weddings or arranged love marriages have begun to emerge within Pakistani culture as a result of change. The impact of love weddings on Pakistani culture, as well as their link to violence, has been investigated. Finally, the author believes that Pakistani marital culture has been evolving throughout time, and we expect to see much more change in the future, including acceptance of new practices and traditions.
